The Apple Hills Growers Association is a community of local family farms dedicated to supporting and fueling the agriculture in the area. The group started with just 16 apple ranches in 1964 and has continued to grow to the over 50 properties they have today. Every property in the association is unique and produces different variations of fruits and vegetables.

APPLE HILL HISTORY
In 1951 Floyd Bolster retired to Camino, California, to follow his lifelong dream of owning and operating an apple orchard. After six years of pursuing his dream, Floyd passed away and left his son Gene in charge of the farm. In 1964 Gene and some of his close farmer friends, Dick Bethell, Ed Delfino, and Bob Truck joined together to form the Apple Hill Growers.
To this day, the Apple Hill Growers Association continues to gain members and community support. Discover their full history by clicking on the button below.
Anyone who stays at Ponderosa Ridge Bed & Breakfast should visit their on-site orchard, but there are many other nearby orchards that guests are encouraged to visit. Our orchard recommendations are listed below.
